People often ask us, “Where do you plan to build this Retreat Center?” And, after 5 years of asking ourselves that very same question, my answer navigates to the north… toward “Stevens County,” in N.E. Washington State. We have, confidently, set our sights on this area! The energy, here, simply feels right…

Jumping the gun (or perhaps just dreaming), we have already visited multiple properties, as potential prospects for our project… After it all, we consider Stevens County (WA) to have a lovely tranquility and the most beautiful of landscapes! This area has the peace and quiet that we seek, for our Retreat Center… You can sense the Nature around you! There are no vehicles, roaring in the distance. You only hear bird-song… with sounds of wind, rustling through the trees and grasses.

Personally, I have fallen in love with the Fruitland area (which is a rural community, in Stevens County). Tyler likes to remind me that “We will accept land, wherever we can afford it,” hahaha… If he did have a choice, however, Tyler has mentioned a pull towards the Lake Roosevelt area (which runs along the west border of Stevens County)… Prices may be a deterrent, in any direction we look, but our willpower remains strong. We are going to push for RESULTS!

…All things considered, it sounds that Stevens County, in Washington State, will be the right location for our future Retreat Center venue (i.e. Terra Mater Village).
