Introduction to Our Aim
Terra Mater Village: An Earthy Retreat Center for Spiritual Wellness and Yoga
Envision—a flowing creek, acres of native trees and flourishing plants, an array of wild grasses, trails to walk amidst Nature and sitting areas that invite, scenic ponds and trickling waterfalls, with Meditation Stalls, an area for outdoor Yoga, individual hut-like Cabins, and numerous Outbuildings to centralize group activities—a place where Yoga Teachers, Spiritual Leaders, Healers, Health Coaches, and the like, can host a successful weekend Retreat!
Our Earthily-themed Retreat Center Venue will offer all-inclusive pricing for overnight accommodations, general provisions, up to three meals per day (Vegan and meat dishes), and necessary spaces to hold group gatherings.
As we (the Founders of Terra Mater Village) envision it, our “Earthy Retreat Center” will become an incredible overgrowth of Mother Earth (i.e. “Terra Mater”), and our facilities will help to encourage any person to lead a 3-day Retreat event of their very own!
…It is our future aim, outlined above, but now is our brainstorming phase.
Our goal is to find a parcel of land (±20 acres), within the Northeast Region of Washington State, upon which we can build this Retreat Center. And, we have a strong motivation to bring our dream into existence!
Under the Business Plan, we are due to construct multiple Bunkhouses, two Shower-Houses, a lush Garden area with scenic pathways and ponds, a Greenhouse (to provide homegrown produce), a private Commercial Kitchen, an Eatery section and Lodge, a Fire-Pit area with sloped seating, a General Store (—for provisions or Yoga and Spiritual Wellness supplies), an “Antiques and Oddities” shop (—for fun), and a handful of spaces to host Workshops or hold sessions of Yoga.
…We plan to build this dream, literally, from the ground up!
Our company will serve as a Venue to host weekend Retreats and, aside from that, our Workshop areas will be available to rent for an hourly package rate. Chef Tyler will, always, offer delicious food and snack options!
Our Venue will maintain cleanly and comfortable areas for our Guests, and we will handle accommodations to assure for a memorable experience.
As well, once our company is open for business, we will provide additional marketing for each Retreat event that we host (…which will be one group of 10-15 Retreaters per weekend, to start).

…As many of you might conclude, however, funding the start-up of a small business can be quite costly. Unfortunately, we cannot afford the project on our own… Managing to secure the funds, for our down payment towards a property, has proven to be difficult in itself… My Family has been saving what money we can, to invest in that expense, and we are continually requesting for Donations.
Watch as we update, dollar for dollar, the amount of money that we have collected to date!! And, please, keep the kindness coming! After we can afford a parcel of land, the construction of this Retreat Center will require additional funding…
In my heart, I know that “it will take a Village” to help our Terra Mater Village come into existence. Our hope is to find a group of like-minded people, to support our start-up and provide us with encouragement, during our journey in creating the small business…
